Slife
All my friends are avatars
We dress like pop stars
Our hair is perfect
Oh boy, do we work it
We spend our days watching who comes and goes
We build, we spend,
We remove and refriend
Online, offline
Logins disabled
This is the language we speak
There’s so much more out there
But it’s a second life that we seek
See, most of us are screaming inside
Isolated, afraid, we got something to hide
We’re way too alone
Even though we’re perma-connected to our phones
We just want a little lovin
Hey, I’m not talkin slex or slovin
But that something more than
A hug, a kiss, a touch, a whisper
All the things animations will never deliver
