New Musics! Yay!

Soz, the much-anticipated Merge Records release from Shout Out Louds, Work, their third full-length album, is out today. It's available on CD, LP, in mp3 format, and in flac format, all of which can be found at the Merge Store. In my humble opinion, you should totes download Merge's downloader as well, as they have tons of great digital downloads from a variety of their bands, including some stellar compilations. For a complete listing of The Merge roster, check out the "Browse Artists" drop-down menu on the upper-right hand side of your screen. Anyways, I soz wish I had monies to download Work, but Friday (payday) isn't THAT far off, is it? It just friggin' seems that way. Le sigh. Yall lemme know whatcha think, k?

Quote of the Day, via Ina Centaur's plurk

"Each person is as if a jewel on the great cloak of humanity... even if they do not connect with others, they will always shine, in their own brilliant light, to make that great evolving coat of sapiens that much more dazzling." - Douglas Adams. Thanks to a Ina Centaur for plurking this and turning me on to this amazing quote. Totes troof.

Breaking News!

So, all you The Love Language fans, I gots the scoop for yas. Well, maybe. Based on status updates on The Love Language's facebook, they've been hard at work recording their upcoming Merge Records debut. Soz, I also have Stuart McLamb individually on my facebook. His last status message simply says, "done." Most of the comments would make it seem that most people believe he is referring to the album. However, since he has not said anything else since, who can say for sure? Also, nothing new of interest on The Love Language's page. So... done for the day? done for now? Or, DONE?!"

UPDATE 2-22-10: He was "done" with the dishes. What a tease! *Rolls my eyes*

UPDATE 4:08 slt/pst, 2-22-10: from 3 hours ago, The Love Language's facebook wall:

"the album's done. it's all so bitter sweet."

Update, 2-23-10:

And, because I'm UBER-nice, an uncensored pic from the set which will be sure to become infamous as the one where I got the title of first dj at The Laundromat to get fully nekkie! Yay me! Pic courtesy of SimonTemplar Bernard, with mucho thanks.
